Therapy for Anxiety, Self-Worth & Life Transitions in Oregon

You've spent so much time trying to be who everyone else needs you to be.

But somewhere along the way, you've lost touch with yourself.

Maybe you're constantly second-guessing your decisions, questioning whether you're doing enough, or wondering why everyone else seems to have things figured out while you feel stuck.

You might be the person who adapts to every situation, reads the room, and knows exactly what others need from you. But when it comes to knowing what you want, what you need, or even how you really feel, things get a little more complicated.

Maybe you've noticed that your emotions sometimes feel bigger than you expect. Something small happens, and suddenly you're overwhelmed, shutting down, crying, or reacting in ways you don't fully understand. You might spend hours replaying conversations, criticizing yourself for how you responded, or wondering why you can't just let things go.

Or maybe you're navigating a season of change and realizing that the version of yourself you've worked so hard to become doesn't quite feel like you anymore.

You know you want something to change. You're just not entirely sure what that looks like yet.

And that's okay. You don't have to have it figured out before coming to therapy.

What Therapy With Me Looks Like

I know it can be exhausting to constantly question yourself, feel overwhelmed by your emotions, or worry about whether you're doing enough. And when you've spent so much time trying to meet everyone else's expectations, it can be hard to even recognize what you need.

I want therapy to be a place where you don't have to worry about saying the right thing, having all the answers, or being anything other than yourself.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on meeting you where you are. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life changes, low self-esteem, self-doubt, and emotions that sometimes feel difficult to manage.

Rather than just focusing on making uncomfortable feelings go away, I want to help you better understand yourself and develop ways to navigate life's challenges that actually work for you.

In our work together, we'll focus on things like:

  • Understanding your emotions: Recognizing what you're feeling, why certain situations affect you so strongly, and how to respond without becoming overwhelmed.

  • Quieting your inner critic: Learning to recognize the harsh expectations you place on yourself and developing a more compassionate way of relating to yourself.

  • Feeling more grounded: Finding ways to slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and feel more steady when life feels overwhelming.

  • Building trust in yourself: Learning to listen to your own needs, make decisions with greater confidence, and rely less on reassurance or approval from others.

  • Navigating life's changes: Making space to explore who you are, what matters to you, and what you want your next chapter to look like.

We won't approach therapy with a checklist of everything you need to fix about yourself. We'll work together to understand what you're experiencing, recognize what's no longer working, and find ways to make changes that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

Finding Your Inner Anchor

When you've spent years looking outside yourself for reassurance, approval, or direction, learning to trust yourself can feel unfamiliar.

Maybe you've spent so long doing what you think you should do that you haven't had much room to consider what actually feels right for you.

My approach to therapy is centered on helping you find your inner anchor. That steady place within yourself you can return to, even when life feels uncertain or things don't go the way you expected.

Because the goal isn't to become someone who never feels anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves. It's to feel more secure in who you are, even when life gets difficult.

It's being able to make a decision without spending hours wondering if it was the right one. Having a difficult conversation without questioning your worth afterward. Recognizing when something doesn't feel right for you and trusting yourself enough to listen.

It's beginning to make choices based on what matters to you, rather than what you think everyone else expects.

And I know getting there takes time.

You don't need to have a clear direction or know exactly what you want from therapy before we begin. Sometimes the first step is simply giving yourself permission to explore those questions.

I offer online therapy for adults throughout Oregon, providing a supportive space where we can work together to help you reconnect with yourself and begin creating a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

You deserve to feel secure in who you are, even when you're still figuring things out.
